Dr. Pam Stephens Adair County School Superintendent put out a call late last night, Sunday, February 25, 2018, to reassure parents, students and staff that they will be safe on Monday, February 26, 2018 and to urge attendance. " . . . you will be safe in our schools tomorrow and in the classrooms," she said.

The call referred to a message a student had posted on social media. She said that the threat had been investigated and that the student had been talked to and disciplined, "for the bad choice they made in that posting." In the phone call, she did not go into detail about the content of the social media post.

More will be posted here when available.
