Liam rolls over for the first time and enjoys a baby shower

By Linda Waggener

Rita Neat shared word that Lindsey Wilson College Plant Operations held a baby shower Tuesday, 20 February 2018 for "Little Man," Liam, the little nephew of their co-worker Taft Neal. Since Taft was asked by Liam's parents to take care of him for a while, making him a sudden parent, Taft's friends and community have come to his aid.

Liam updates are shared on columbiamagazine.com and posted on his social media page, showcasing how Uncle Taft is learning the ins and outs of parenting while taking care of his nephew.

"Little Man" as he is called by Taft, decided to roll over all on his own this week. Taft said, "It was a game changer, even working his way in circles."

From just one question about what to buy for a baby who had grown out of his bassinet, he has been showered by many who have come to offer help.

Taft said, "Thank you to all that have been there with support for me and Liam, including Rita Neat, Mark and Jennifer Fair Jones, Mark and Maggie Coleman, Jimmy Bottoms, Junior and Connie Stotts, Mike Newton, Miranda Hatcher, Robert Flowers and Terry and Linda Neal."
