Styles named NAIA National Women's Basketball Player of Week

COLUMBIA, KY - Lindsey Wilson senior Kayla Styles has been selected as the NAIA Division I Women's Basketball National Player of the Week, the conference office announced this week.

It marks the third time in her career Styles has picked up the national weekly honor, also collecting the award twice last season. She is the lone Blue Raider in program history to earn the honor three times.



The senior forward from Louisville, averaged 32.3 points and 12.7 rebounds per game last week as the Blue Raiders went 2-1. Styles recorded a double-double in all three games and now has 15 for the season. She also had 10 assists, five blocks and four steals.

Styles ranks No. 3 in NAIA Division I women's basketball with 21.7 points per game and ranks ninth with 10.7 rebounds per game.

Lindsey Wilson is currently 21-5 overall and 7-3 in Mid-South Conference play.
