She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Community Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was the daughter of the late Samuel McKinney & Vada Perkins Taulman, and the widow of Lowell Warren Hickerson. She leaves six direct living descendants.

Carolyn Jane McKinney Hickerson of Greensburg, KY, departed this life on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at her home. She was 64 years old.

The funeral services for Carolyn Jane McKinney Hickerson will be conducted at 1pmCT, Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Greasy Creek Cemetery. Bro. Mark Lile officiating. Visitation is requested from 3pmCT until 8pmCT, Saturday, February 17, 2018, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT on Sunday until time of the funeral service.

Carolyn Jane McKinney Hickerson of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Samuel McKinney & Vada Perkins Taulman, was born on Thursday, December 3, 1953 in Green County and departed this life on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at her home. She was 64 years, 2 months, and 10 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Community Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

She united in marriage to Lowell Warren Hickerson on March 7, 1970. He preceded her in death on September 26, 2011.

Survivors include:
  • Two sons and a daughter-in-law: Warren Hickerson, and Chris and Lindsey Hickerson all of Green County, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Levi Hickerson and his wife, Alicia, Ava Hickerson, Kamryn Hickerson, and Finlee Hickerson all of Green County, KY

  • A brother and three sisters: David Alan McKinney, Donna Jewell both of Green County, KY; Tinkie Bloyd of Campbellsville, KY; and Shenenne Spaulding of Elizabethtown, KY

  • Half-brother and half-sister: Kenny Wayne Perkins and Jamie Gilbert both of Indiana

  • Her step-mother: Sandra McKinney of Green County, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends.
