She was the daughter of the late Alta (Simpson) & Claude Aaron Bell. She was a member of a large respected Russell County, KY family, one of fourteen siblings, nine of whom now survive. She leaves 10 direct living descendants, spanning four generations.

Margaret A. Pickett Margaret A. Pickett, 79 of Jamestown, KY passed away on Thursday February 8, 2018, at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY. The family chose care and cremation.

Margaret A. Pickett, 79, Jamestown, KY (1939-2018)

She was born in Jamestown, Russell County, KY on January 6, 1939. She was a daughter of the late Alta (Simpson) & Claude Aaron Bell. She died Thursday, February 8, 2018, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 79 years, one month, and two days.

Margaret is survived by:
  • A daughter: Rhonda (Dale) Bell of Jamestown, KY.

  • A son: Donnie Pickett, of Jamestown, KY

  • Three brothers: Willie Bell, of Tampa, FL; Stevie Bell, of Jamestown, KY; and Ernest Bell, of Russell Springs, KY

  • Six sisters: Frances Garner, Peggy Popplewell, Deloris Mann, Carol Claiborn, Linda Huddleston, all of Jamestown, KY; and Helen Flowers of Deland, FL

  • Three grandchildren

  • Four great grandchildren

  • One great great grandson

  • A host of nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Timothy Pickett, brother Bobby Bell; and three sisters, Opal Foley, Mary Lois and Donna Bell. Send condolences to the family of Margaret A. Pickett
