Green County Grand Jury returns indictments Wed 31 Jan 2018

Indictments brought against 14 individuals from Greensburg, Campbellsville, Summersville, and Center, KY on charges including arson, assault, wanton endangerment, trafficking, possession, and receiving stolen property.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Green County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Greensburg, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Wednesday, 31 January 2018:


  • Joshua M. Skaggs (03/11/1997), Townhouse Dr., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00010-001. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Receiving stolen property (firearm). Count 2 - Theft by unlawful taking or disposition, firearm. Bond set at $1,500 cash, no contact with victim.

  • Lorrie B. Bush (12/31/1975), N. Second St., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00010-002. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Receiving stolen property (firearm). Count 2 - Theft by unlawful taking or disposition, firearm. Bond set at $1,500 cash, no contact with victim.

  • Derek R. Abbott (07/03/1991), Liletown Rd., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00012-001. Charged with 5 counts. Count 1 - Traffic in controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st <2g methamphetamine. Count 2 - Tampering with physical evidence. Count 3 - Traffic in controlled substance, 3rd degree, 1st offense, <20 D.U. drug unspecified. Count 4 - Drug paraphernalia, buy/possess. Count 5 - Possession of marijuana. Bond set at $2,000 cash.

  • Kimberly M. Curry (09/16/1978), Highway 88, Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00012-002. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Traffic in controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st <2g methamphetamine. Count 2 - Drug paraphernalia, buy/possess. Count 3 - Traffic in controlled substance, 3rd degree, 1st offense, <20 D.U. drug unspecified. Count 4 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $2,500 cash.

  • Shelly B. Bell (02/25/1978), Hodgenville Rd., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00012-003. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Traffic in controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st <2g methamphetamine. Bond set at $1,000 cash.

  • Joseph L. Newton (01/08/1964), Hwy 1464, Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00008. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Convicted felon in possession of a handgun. Count 2 - Possession of marijuana. Bond set at $1,500 cash.

  • Shelby R. Milby (10/21/1995), Hudgins Highway, Summersville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00006. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Arson, 3rd degree. Count 2 - Resisting arrest. Bond set at $2,000/USB.

  • Matthew G. Miller (07/09/1980), Hunters Trail, Center, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00007. Charged with 6 counts. Counts 1-3 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 4 - Assault, 4th degree domestic violence minor injury. Count 5 - Criminal mischief, 3rd degree. Count 6 - Alcohol intoxication in a public place, 1st and 2nd offense. Bond set at $20,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • John Chessley Upton (11/09/1986), Old Hodgenville Ave., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00009. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Assault, 4th degree, domestic, 3rd+ within 5 years. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $5,000 full cash, no violations of the law.

  • Robert Gaylord Davis (02/15/1971), Highway 88, Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00004. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Operating on suspended or revoked operator license. Count 3 - Failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance/security, 1st offense. Count 4 - Failure to produce insurance card. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  • Deeanna F. Webb (12/08/1978), E. Broadway, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00011-002. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (drug unspecified). Count 2 - Drug paraphernalia, buy/possess. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs/alcohol.

  • Timmy W. Webb (10/11/1978), Smith Ridge Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00011-001. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (drug unspecified). Count 2 - Drug paraphernalia, buy/possess. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law.

  • Thomas A. Johnson (09/22/1963), Allen St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00011-003. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (drug unspecified). Count 2 - Drug paraphernalia, buy/possess. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law.

  • Jacobi A. Caven (05/26/1990), NW Aetna Furnace Hwy, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00005. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - TBUT or disposition auto, $500 or more but under $10,000. Count 2 - Criminal mischief, 2nd degree. Count 3 - Operating on suspended/revoked operators license. Count 4 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $5,000 full cash, no violations of the law.
