Adair Co. Grand Jury returns indictments 19 Jan 2018
Indictments brought against 19 individuals from Columbia, Campbellsville, Burkesville, Mt. Vernon and Stamping Ground, KY, on charges including possession, trafficking, cultivation of marijuana, flagrant nonsupport, receipt of stolen property, and wanton endangerment.
NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
The Adair County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Columbia, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Friday, 19 January 2018:
- Christopher Schuster (09/08/1966), F. Burton Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00027. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Marijuana cultivation, more than 5 plants, 1st offense. Bail set at $7,500 cash. Arraignment 2/13/2018 at 1pmCT.
- James E. Benningfield (08/11/1986), Columbia, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00028. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking or disposition, $500 or more but under $10,000.
