Third-graders at CES take a tour of downtown Campbellsville

By Calen McKinney

Campbellsville Elementary School third-graders recently took a tour of downtown Campbellsville.

Students visited Campbellsville Fire & Rescue, Campbellsville Civic Center, Taylor County Courthouse and Taylor County Judicial Center.

They also learned about Campbellsville/Taylor County EMS and Campbellsville Police.

Students heard about fire safety, how city and county governments operate and about how many community helpers keep residents safe.

They also saw where Campbellsville City Council and Taylor County Fiscal Court members meet.
