New member of AC Election Commission: Vicky Pike

Appointment is now official. The Adair County Democrat Party submitted the name of Vicky Pike to the Secretary of State following the resignation of Ben Loy. Today, both Pike and Adair County Clerk Lisa Greer received letters confirming the appointment. Pike will take the oath of office at the January 25, 2018 meeting of the Adair County Board of Elections

When the Adair County Board of Elections meets at 2:30pmCT, Thursday, January 25, 2018 for its regular 4th Thursday meeting in the Adair County Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY, there will be a new member of the Board.

Vicky Browning Pike will represent the Democrats on the board, which also includes, Republican Ricky Collins; and ex officio voting members County Clerk Lisa Greer, and Adair County Sheriff Harrison Moss (who will announce his substitute. As a candidate he cannot sit on the board).

Adair County Attorney Jennifer Hutchison-Corbin, is a non voting ex officio member.



Vicky Pike replaces Ben Loy as the Democrat representative on the Board. She will take the oath of office at the January 25, 2018 meeting.

Both Pike and Clerk Greer were notified of the appointment in letters both received today, January 22, 2018 from Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes.
