Bobby Joe Atwell, 70, Greensburg, KY (1947-2018) He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the East Campbellsville Church of God. Mr. Atwell was also a plumber for Wilson Plumbing Company, and a member of the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #54 F&AM. Mr. Bobby Joe Atwell of Greensburg, KY departed this life on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at his home. . The funeral services for Mr. Bobby Joe Atwell were conducted at 10amCT, Friday, January 9, 2018 at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY. Burial followed in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bro. T.C. Moore and Bro. Josh Wilson officiated. Pallbearers: Robbie Wilson, Darren Wilson, Jeff Campbell, Sam Moore, Brad Craig, and Alex Colvin. Bobby Joe Atwell, 70, Greensburg, KY (1947-2018) Mr. Bobby Joe Atwell of Greensburg, KY, was the son of the late Joseph A. Atwell and Clemmie Whitehead Atwell. He was born on Sunday, May 18, 1947 in Green County, KY, and departed this life on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at his home. He was 70 years, 7 months, and 30 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the East Campbellsville Church of God. Mr. Atwell was also a plumber for Wilson Plumbing Company, and a member of the Greensburg Masonic Lodge #54 F&AM. Survived by his wife of almost 47 years, Celia Mae Campbell Atwell of Greensburg, having united in marriage on January 23, 1971. Other survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Kristi and Rollin Gentry, and Jenni and Troy Moore all of Greensburg; five grandchildren: Bro. T.C. Moore and his wife, Chasity of Campbellsville, MacKenzie Colvin and her husband, Alex, Shelby Karnes all of Greensburg, Sam Moore of Campbellsville, and Grant Karnes of Greensburg; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Atwell was also preceded in death by a daughter: Melinda Atwell in 1983; and a brother: Ricky Atwell.
