Linda Dianne Johnson, 72, Russell County, KY (1945-2018)

She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and a member of Cedar Springs United Baptist Church. She was a native of Pulaski County, KY, and a resident of Russell County, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Denver & Argola Meece Shepperd. She leaves 51 direct living descendants.
Linda Dianne Johnson, 72, Russell Springs, KY, died Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at her home.

Funeral service for Linda Dianne Johnson will be 10amCT, Friday, January 19, 2018, at the Cedar Springs United Baptist Church with Bro. Leon Simpson officiating. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT, Thursday, January 18, 2018, at the Bernard Funeral Home, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY and after 9amCT, Friday at the church. Interment will be in the Cedar Springs Cemetery. Special music will be rendered by Lori Godby.



Pallbearers: Lyndon Godby, Adam Godby, Jordan Mann, Casey Loy, Ricky Pierce, Casey Pierce, Eddie Pierce, and Dylan Jones.

Linda Dianne Johnson, 72, Russell County, KY (1945-2018) Linda Dianne Johnson was born July 15, 1945 in Pulaski County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Denver & Argola Meece Shepperd. She died Tuesday, January 16, 2018 in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 72 years, six months, and one day.

Linda was a Licensed Practical Nurse and a member of Cedar Springs United Baptist Church. Survivors are:
  • Six children: Robert Johnson, Franklin, IN; Leon R. (Cindy) Godby, Danville, IN; Lloyd Ray (Lori) Godby, Windsor, KY; and Pamela Sue (Rick) Pierce, Patsy Lyn (Steve) Loy, and Melissa (Scott) Mann, all of Russell Springs, KY

  • Nineteen grandchildren

  • Twenty-six great grandchildren
