Our welcome committee, Ayumi Maruyama from Japan and Bingqing Wu from China - both are here on a two semester exchange from the Toyo University in Japan, Molly "Tom" Brown, from Liberia who is scheduled to graduate with a degree in Nursing May 2018, Kassie Little, Assistant Director of ISP and holding the "LWC Welcome Sign" and Sabine Eastham, Director of the International Student Programs welcomed new students at the Louisville International Airport.

On the way back from the airport in Louisville, the group stopped at the restaurant Colton's in Campbellsville, KY, which for many was their first dinner in America. Binging Wu, our student from China, who celebrated her birthday the Colton way....a big surprise for her.

While tomorrow is a holiday for many, our 11 new Blue Raiders will spend the day in orientation, getting briefed on Immigration regulations and getting to know one another.

And so we continue our mission...using a quote from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.:"The time is always right to do what is right."

Stay tuned as we set sails on yet another journey - memories in the making...
