Stephens was the guest speaker at the Tuesday, January 9, 2018 luncheon meeting at Lindsey Wilson College's Cranmer Dining Center, and gave an upbeat account of the "State of the County." He said that he felt 2018 will be the best year of all. Chamber Board Meets, with new officeers Pam Hoots as President, Ellen Zornes as Executive Secretary The Columbia Adair County Chamber of Commerce board members met Tuesday, January 8, 2018 at Cranmer dining center just before the regular meeting with 100 percent of board members present. Former president Ellen Zornes began her new position as executive director and Pamela Hoots took charge of the meeting as new president. Other officers are Kerry Humphress, Vice President; Ann Martin, Secretary; Linda Fitzpatrick, Treasurer; Board Members Bobby Bowe, Sharon Burton, Abe Cross, Jelaine Harlow, Patricia Harper, Sherry Selby, Woody Sharpe, Linda Waggener, Chris Wilson, and Joseph Willis. Honorary board members are Columbia Mayor Curtis Hardwick and Adair County Judge Execuitive Mike Stephens. The Columbia/Adair County Chamber of Commerce is open from 8am to 2pmCT Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday each week and meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 11:45amCT at the Roberta D.
