Ralph Waggener: Hwy. 80 between Columbia and R Springs The road to Russell Springs has high number of churches along or just off KY 80 - and plenty of Dollar General Stores. Tabulation needed, writer says. By Ralph Roy Waggener Editor, It's Just for a Smile News Hey, Linda and Ed, may I make a suggestion to you local back road travelers? When driving to Russell Springs to eat fish we have noticed a rather large number of churches! A good project for you roadies would to put count- a number - on the churches on or close to Hwy. 80 between Columbia and Russell Springs. Seems like every trip we make we see a sign to a church just off of 80 or we notice another church. You might pick up on the large number of Dollar Stores on this drive, too. Just thought this would pique both your attentions! Just a thought! - Ralph Roy This story was posted on 2018-01-06 18:46:34
