Click on headline for complete story, with other changes for today By Ed Waggener Adair County Schools are operating on a regular schedule today, Thursday, January 4, 2017, according to Transportation Director David Jones. "We got a little dusting of snow, he said, "but we've checked the roads and found them be safe to travel today." Mr. Jones said that Green County School District is on regular schedule today, and Calen McKinney confirmed that Campbellsville Independent Schools are operating on a regular schedule. Elsewhere in the area, Cumberland County, Casey County, and Russell County Schools are closed today, he said. (But students have classes at home through these districts' NTI's - Non Traditional Instruction.) Mr. Jones said that the Adair County School District's goal this winter is to alert families no later than 5:30amCT, earlier if possible, whether there will be changes in the schedule.
