AC Clerk Greer: Office open, but with state computer problems

What you CAN'T do when computers down: Get license plates. Make property transfers.
What you CAN do: File for a local office; register to vote.

By Lisa Greer, Adair County Court Clerk

Good morning.

We were closed Friday, Saturday, and Monday for New Year’s Holidays, during this time Transportation was activating a new system for the way Clerks Offices across the state register vehicles. Currently, Clerks across the state are having issues with being able to connect to the new system. This may take some time and we will keep you informed as we get up and going, hopefully, soon. If your tags are expired, you do have a grace period before the State charges late penalties which is Friday at 4pmCT. Please bear with us, this is beyond our control, all of our systems are State operated. Thank you
