Wave as you go by, it may help property sales

By Linda Waggener

Stopping in the Adair County PVA office for any changes that might have happened in auto values before going to the Clerk's office for new licenses provided the opportunity to meet some folks thinking of buying property here. The man said, “I told Tammy Stotts (realtor) that we were not going to buy until we look around, we are going to Lexington to see what's there." He said they'd just returned from Danville. "After we’d looked there my wife said let’s go back to Adair County," he said. "I told her OK, why? She said because up here nobody waves at you in passing."

So they came back to Adair County. He said, "And sure enough, the minute we we passed the Adair County sign, somebody we passed threw up their hand and waved at us.”
