Darlene Brown Probus, 60, Weed community, Adair County, KY (1957-2017)

She was a born in Glasgow, KY. She was a member of a respected family with roots in Adair and Metcalfe Counties, KY. She the daughter of James A. "Junior" Brown & Clarine Willie Blythe Brown, Edmonton, KY, who survive, as does her husband, James Probus. Darlene attended the Faith Temple Church in Russell Springs, KY and was a factory worker. Her final resting place will be in Moore Cemetery, Adair County, KY.

Darlene Probus, 60, of the Weed Community of Adair County, KY passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 2:31amCT, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY, after a long illness.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 10amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Eugene Sneed the officiating clergy. Interment will be in Adair County, KY, in the Moore Cemetery, 225 Prices Creek Road, Adair County, KY. Visiting will be after 3:30pmCT, on Tuesday, December 27, 2017, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.



Darlene Probus, 60, Adair Co., KY (1957-2017)


She was born December 21, 1957 in Glasgow, Barren County, KY. She was the daughter of James A. "Junior" Brown & Clarine Willie Blythe Brown, of Edmonton, KY, who survive. She died Saturday, December 23, 2017, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 60 years, two days.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Gale Marie Probus on November 9, 1993 and by one sister, Deranda Yvonne Brown in 1982

In addition to her parents, James A. "Junior" Brown & Clarine Willie Blythe Brown of Edmonton, KY, she is survived by her husband, James Probus of Edmonton, KY.

Darlene attended the Faith Temple Church in Russell Springs, KY and was a factory worker.
