Sandra Burress Davis, Taylor Co., KY (1959-2017)

She was a member of Feathersburg Church of God and was known for her sweet selfless spirit, always worrying about others' needs over herself. In her spare time you would find her enjoying scrapbooking and working puzzles. Sandy married Gerald "Jerry" Davis on May 10, 1986. He survives. She was the daughter of Bobby & Dorothy Wethington Burress, who also survive. She leaves five direct and one step living descendants.

Sandra D. "Sandy" Burress Davis, 58 of Campbellsville, died Thursday, December 21, 2017, at her home after an extended illness.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 1pm/2pmET at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home, 503 E Main Street, Campbellsville, KY with Bro. Josh Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Callahan Cemetery, Feathersburg, Adair County, KY, with casket bearers being Adam Burress, Matthew Burress, Dustan Burress, Austin Burress, Joseph Johnson and Robert Campbell. The family requests visitation from 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.

Sandy was born in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, on June 29, 1959. She was the daughter of Bobby & Dorothy Wethington Burress of Campbellsville, KY, who survive. She died Thursday, December 21, 2017, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 58 years, five months and 22 days of age, of Campbellsville, died Thursday at her home after an extended illness.

She was a member of Feathersburg Church of God and was known for her sweet selfless spirit, always worrying about others' needs over herself. In her spare you would find her enjoying scrapbooking and working puzzles.

Surviving are
  • Her husband: Gerald "Jerry" Davis

  • Two daughters, Jennifer Lynn Bell and her husband William Richard of Elkhorn, KY, and Jacqueline Nicole Davis, Campbellsville, KY,

  • A step-son: Jeremy Daniel Davis, Campbellsville, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Corey Blake Spurling, Nicholas Joseph Hall and Gabriella Rose Hall

  • Two brothers: Rodney Burress and his wife Toni & Allen Burress and his wife Kecia, all of Elkhorn, KY
