Burkesvillle, KY man charged in bomb threat investigation Cumberland County Justice Center in Burkesville, KY, evacuated, closed along with Main Street and the surrounding area, after 8:31amCT response to bomb threat, not re-opened until 2:30pmCT. 28 year old Burkesville, KY man arrested on 9 counts of Terroristic Threatening and lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail in Columbia, KY. KSP Detective Kenny Brown is investigating Note: Charges/allegations are not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by law enforcement is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding. By TFC William R. Gregory, Public Information Officer KSP Post 15, Columbia, KY COLUMBIA, KY (Thu 21 Dec 2017) - At approximately 8:31amCT, Post 15 received a call from the Cumberland County Sheriff in reference to a bomb threat at the Cumberland County Justice Center. Three first responders in the community received a text message stating that there was a bomb in the Justice Center which was then evacuated and closed along with Main street and the surrounding area. The building was searched and cleared by KSP personnel along with a KSP K9 and no threats were located. The roadway was reopened at approximately 2:30pmCT. The investigation resulted in the arrest of 28-year-old Joshua D. Norris, of Burkesville, KY. Norris was charged with 9 counts of Terroristic Threatening 1st Degree and lodged in the Adair County Jail. Detective Kenny Brown is investigating. This story was posted on 2017-12-21 16:26:27
