Driver injured in Toyota SUV v Peterbilt Tractor Trailer Click on headline for Mitzi Bault photo on ColumbiaMagazine with complete story by Larry Smith, FM 99.9, the Big Dawg By Larry Smith, FM 99.9 The Big Dawg From Taylor County Sheriff's Office The driver of a 2017 Peterbilt Tractor Trailer was transported to Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellville following a collision with a 2013 Toyota SUV on KY 210/Hodgenville Road, at its intersection with KY 744, at 11amET, on Tuesday, December 19, 2017. Claybourne C. Engleman, 58, of Excelsior Springs, MO, was traveling West on Kentucky 210 in the tractor-trailer, approximately seven miles west of Campbellsville, KY, when Kenneth E. Atwood, 82, of Campbellsville, operating the SUV, turned into the path of the semi, causing the semi to strike his vehicle. Engleman was transported by Campbellsville/Taylor County EMS to Taylor Regional Hospital for injuries sustained. Atwood was not injured. TCSO Deputy Brandon Wilson was assisted on the scene by CTCEMS, Campbellsville Fire Department, and the Taylor County Volunteer Fire Department. This story was posted on 2017-12-20 06:14:47
