Drug arrest results from ACSO traffic stop on Elkhorn Rd


Arrest made this morning, Tuesday, December 19, 2017, in northern Adair County, near Knifley, KY. 49-year-old driver arrested, taken into custody, and now faces allegations of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Note: Charges/allegations are not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by law enforcement is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

From the Adair County Sheriffs Office

Adair County Sheriff Harrison Moss reports that in the early morning hours of Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at around 1amCT, Deputy Josh Durbin conducted a traffic stop on Elkhorn Road.



After a roadside investigation, a passenger in the vehicle, 49 year old Rory Shelanskey of Adair County, was taken into custody after he was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

Shelanskey was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia.

Deputy Durbin is the investigating officer.
