CPD Ofc. Drew Conn arrests Adair man on drug/firearm charges

Law Enforcement arrests suspect, who was lodged in Adair Regional Jail, Columbia, KY, on allegations/charges of DUI, possession of handgun by convicted felon, and possession of controlled substance. CPD Ofc. Jamie Cole & Adair County SO Deputy Derick Padgett assist in arrest.
Note: Charges/allegations are not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by law enforcement is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

Columbia Police arrested an Adair County man on December 14, 2017, after a traffic stop.

CPD Ofc. Drew Conn conducted a stop on a 2007 Chevrolet on Young Street at around 7:45pmCT.



It was found that 24 year old Justin Bledsoe, who was operating the vehicle, was under the influence of an intoxicating substance. Bledsoe was also found to be in possession of handgun as well as Methamphetamine.

Bledsoe was arrested by Ofc. Conn and lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail on charges of

- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs

- Possession of a handgun by a convicted felon

- Possession of a controlled substance 1st degree methamphetamine

Ofc. Jamie Cole and Deputy Derick Padgett assisted.
