Adair Co. Grand Jury returns indictments 12 Dec 2017

Indictments brought against 14 individuals from Columbia, KY on charges including burglary, assault, possession, trafficking, DUI and murder.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Adair County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Columbia, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday, 12 December 2017:


  • Frankie Reliford (11/30/1959), Ray Partin Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00196. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine). Count 2 - Possession of marijuana. Count 3 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Arraignment 1/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • David Russell Miller (03/19/1971), Neat Hollow Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00195. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking/disposition $500 or more but under $10,000. Arraignment 1/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Stephanie Slater Campbell (02/02/1977), Ray Partin Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00197. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine). Count 2 - Possession of marijuana. Count 3 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 4 - Terroristic threatening, 3rd degree. Arraignment 1/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Brandon Jared Catron (12/18/1993), Purdy Sano Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00198. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in a controlled substance, 2nd degree, 1st offense, less than 20 dosage units, drug unspecified, Schedule III. Count 2 - Trafficking in a controlled substance, 3rd degree, 1st offense, more than 120 dosage units, drug unspecified. Count 3 - Trafficking in marijuana, less than 8oz, 1st offense. Bail set at $10,000 cash, arraignment 1/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Reuben Sebastian Paz (01/08/1986), New Concord Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00199. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Murder, domestic violence. Count 2 - Tampering with physical evidence. Bail set at $1,000,000 cash, arraignment 1/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Phillip W. Mattingly (02/24/1954) Indictment No. 17-CR-00200. Charged with 5 counts. Count 1 - Operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs of or above .08, 4th or subsequent offense (aggravating circumstance). Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Count 3 - Operating motor vehicle while license revoked or suspended for driving under influence, 1st offense (aggravating circumstance). Count 4 - No registration plates. Count 5 - Reckless driving. Bail set at $2,500 cash, arraignment 1/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Larin D. Stotts (10/23/1983), Butler Branch Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00201. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 3rd or subsequent offense (methamphetamine). Count 2 - Tampering with physical evidence. Count 3 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 4 - Resisting arrest. Bail set at $5,000 cash/sec prop, arraignment 1/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Donald W. Christenberry (08/18/1974), Spring Dr., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00202. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Assault, 1st degree. Count 2 - Assault, 4th degree. Bail set at $100,000 cash, arraignment 1/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Christopher T. Ingermann, Jr. (06/27/1989), Walker St., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00203. Charged with 11 counts. Count 1 - Operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs of or above .08, 1st offense (aggravating circumstance). Count 2 - Menacing. Count 3 - Disorderly conduct, 2nd degree. Count 4 - Resisting arrest. Count 5 - Assault, 3rd degree. Count 6 - No registration receipt. Count 7 - Failure to produce insurance card. Count 8 - Failure to notify Department of Transportation of address change. Counts 9/10/11 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Arraignment 1/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Audry T. Ingermann (11/14/1966), Walker St., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00204. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Assault, 3rd degree. Count 2 - Resisting arrest. Count 3 - Disorderly conduct, 2nd degree. Arraignment 1/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • James A. Haywood (06/22/1989), Appen Ave., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00205. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Assault, 2nd degree. Arraignment 1/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Jessie Franklin Cross (10/22/1976), Greensburg St., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00206. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 2nd degree. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Count 3 - Fleeing or evading police, 1st degree, on foot. Count 4 - Criminal mischief, 3rd degree. Bail set at $50,000 cash, arraignment 1/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Danny Lee Jeffries (08/22/1961), Greensburg St., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00207. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Retaliating against participant in legal process. Count 2 - Terroristic threatening, 3rd degree. Arraignment 1/9/2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Donald Eric Sanders (03/15/1973), Union Church Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00208. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Trafficking in a controlled substance, 1st degree (methamphetamine) 2g+, 1st offense, weapon enhancement. Bail set at $5,000 cash/sec prop, arraignment 1/9/2018 at 1pmCT.
