Columbian faces drug charges after CPD investigates fight

Investigation of complaint of altercation on Miller Street, leads to allegation that one of combatants was in possession of methamphetamines, paraphernalia and arrest
Note: Charges/allegations are not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by law enforcement is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

On Monday, 12-11-2017 at approximately 7:30pmCT Columbia Police Officers Jamie Cole and Josh Brockman were dispatched to a reported altercation on Miller Street involving two males fighting.



Upon arrival officers located parties involved and during investigation of the complaint it was found that Lewis Bardin age 37, of Columbia, KY, was in possession of methamphetamine as well as multiple used syringes.

Bardin was arrested by CPD Ofc. Cole on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.
