CHS girls' basketball team to host Food Pantry Classic

Campbellsville High School girls' basketball team will host its annual Food Pantry Classic next week. All canned food donated during the tournament will be given to the Taylor County Food Pantry. The tournament will be played on December 20-22, 2017 in the CHS gym, 230 W Main Street, Campbellsville, KY.

Games begin on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017. The schedule follows.

Games are listed in bracket order:
  • 2pmCT/3pmET - CHS vs. Henry County.

  • 5pmCT/6pmET. - Meade County vs. North Bullitt.

  • 3:30pmCT/4:30pmET - Green County vs. McLean County.

  • 6:30pmCT/ 7:30pmET - Casey County vs. Knott County Central.
On Thursday, December 21, the losers' bracket games will be at 2pmCT/3pmET and 3:30pmCT/4:30pmET, and the winners' bracket games will be at 5pmCT/6pmET and 6:30pmCT/7:30pmET

And on Friday, December 22, the seventh-place game will be at 2pmCT/3pmET, the fifth-place game will be at 3:30pmCT/4:30pmET, the third-place game is at 5pmCT/6pmET and the championship game will be at 6pmCT/7pmET.

To go along with the tournament, the CHS girls' basketball team is hosting a canned food drive, with all items collected to be donated to the Taylor County Food Pantry.

All items to be donated can be brought to the CHS office.

Anthony Epps is the CHS girls' basketball head coach.

Assistant coaches are Katie Wilkerson, Natalia Warren and Debbie Gowdy-Smith.
