She was a former member of the Middlesboro Garden Club and the Middlesboro Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of an outstanding Adair County, KY, family, the daughter of the late Earl Dennis & Christine Goff Cain. She leaves seven direct living descendants.
