Ruby Faye Cave Scheele, 90, Taylor County, KY/Adair native (1927-2017)

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Graceland Baptist Church in New Albany, Indiana, where she resided for many years and attended the South Campbellsville Baptist Church after moving to Campbellsville. She was a former employee for General Electric. She was a native of Cane Valley, KY, a member of an old line north Adair County, KY, family. She leaves four direct living descendants. Her final resting place is in Adair County.

Ruby Faye (Cave) Scheele, was born Saturday, January 8, 1927 in Cane Valley, KY (Adair County) and departed this life on Monday, December 4, 2017 in Campbellsville at her home. She was 90 years, 10 months and 27 days of age.

The funeral service for Ruby Faye Scheele was held privately on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY, with interment in Adair County at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 102 Mt. Carmel Cemetery Road, Columbia, KY.

Ruby Faye (Cave) Scheele, was born Saturday, January 8, 1927 in Cane Valley, KY (Adair County) and departed this life on Monday, December 4, 2017 in Campbellsville at her home. She was 90 years, 10 months and 27 days of age.

Ruby had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Graceland Baptist Church in New Albany, Indiana, where she resided for many years and attended the South Campbellsville Baptist Church after moving to Campbellsville. She was a former employee for General Electric.

Survivors include:
  • Two sons: Mo Clark of Campbellsville, KY; and Wendell Clark and wife Debbie of Greensburg, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Nathaniel Clark of Georgetown, KY; and Brooklyn Franklin and husband Jacob of Georgia

  • Special friends: Orville Tapscott and Wanda Gray

  • and a host of other relatives and friends
Mrs. Scheele was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters: George Lewis Cave, W.G. Cave, Doris Beard and Kay Lemmons.
