Trayton Stargel, a 7th grader, wrestles on the ACMS wrestling team, but also wrestles for the Taylor County Youth Wrestling program, as well, under Coach Chris Harrison.

On Sunday, December 3, 2017, he traveled to Taylor Mill, KY, where he competed in the Eagles Strike Wrestling Tournament, and brought home 3rd place.

In the first match, Trayton fought through to the third period and won with a score of 2-0. Unfortunately, he barely fell short of a victory in the second match, where he was defeated in overtime with a score of 6-4. During his third match, he victoriously came back out on top pinning his opponent in the third period and claiming the win.

In the fourth and final match, he once again, battled through and managed to pull out the win with a score of 5-2 in the third period.

Congratulations Trayton!!! - Amanda Taylor
