LWC Football hosts Southern Oregon in NAIA Football Championship Quarterfinals Third Quarterfinal appearance for Blue Raiders in last four years. Matchup is only Quarterfinal Game played in Kentucky this year, and the only with two unbeaten teams this year. The other three games in Quarter finals are: Northwestern (Iowa) (10-1) at St. Francis (IN) (11-0), Georgetown (KY) (10-1) at Reinhardt (GA) (10-0) and Saint Xavier (IL) (10-1) at Morningside (Iowa) (12-0). Game time not yet available as of this post for game at Blue Raider Stadium, 928 Russell Road, Columbia, KY, Saturday, November 25, 2017 By Chris Wells, LWC Sports Information Director COLUMBIA, KY - No. 4 Lindsey Wilson football hosts No. 5 Southern Oregon, in the NAIA Football Championship Series Quarterfinals, NAIA officials announced on Saturday night. The game is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 25 at Blue Raider Stadium. Game time will be announced early next week. Lindsey Wilson and Southern Oregon punched their tickets to the quarterfinals with home wins on Saturday. The Blue Raiders (11-0) defeated fellow Mid-South Conference foe and No. 9 Southeastern (FL) 63-49. Southern Oregon (11-0) dismissed Dickinson State (ND) 55-24. The matchup is the only quarterfinal game that features two unbeaten teams. Northwestern (Iowa) (10-1) travels to St. Francis (IN) (11-0), Georgetown (KY) (10-1) travels to Reinhardt (GA) (10-0) and Saint Xavier (IL) (10-1) heads to Morningside (Iowa) (12-0) in the other three quarterfinal games. Lindsey Wilson earns its third quarterfinal appearance in the last four years while Southern Oregon heads to the quarters for the fourth time in six seasons.
