KSP investigating two vehicle collisions in Calloway County First involved 33 year old Deer Lodge, MT, driver. Second involves Calloway S.O. cruiser, who steer his vehicle off the roadway to avoid striking another vehicle stopped in the road, and subsequently struck a tree Click on headline for complete story By Senior Trooper Jody Cash, Public Information Officer Kentucky State Police Post One, Mayfield, KY NEW CONCORD, KY (12 Nov 2017) - Kentucky State Police are investigating two single vehicle collisions that occurred in Calloway County, near the same location of each other, on Sunday, November 12, 2017. Preliminary investigation has shown Trevor R Trull, age 33, of Deer Lodge, Montana was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado southbound on Tearose Drive near the intersection of Wedgewood Drive. Upon approaching a sharp right curve at 2:32pmCT, Mr. Trull failed to negotiate the curve, exiting the roadway and striking a tree. Preliminary investigation has also shown Calloway County Deputy Sheriff Brandon W. Winebarger, age 37, of Hazel, Kentucky was driving a 2017 Dodge Charger (police cruiser) southbound on Tearose Drive near the intersection of Wedgewood Drive. Upon approaching a sharp right curve at 2:35pmCT, Deputy Winebarger steered his cruiser off the roadway to avoid another vehicle stopped in the roadway, striking a tree. Nobody was injured in either collision. The investigation is continuing by Trooper Eric West. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kentucky State Police Post 1 at 270-856-3721 or anonymously at 1-800-222-5555. Citizens may also report tips anonymously through the KSP app. The app is available for iPhone, iPad and Android applications and can be easily downloaded free of charge through Apple and Google Play stores.
