Knifley driver airlifted from scene of single vehicle crash Victim of single vehicle crash at Knifley, extricated by Adair County Fire Department, flown from the scene to University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington,KY From Adair County Sheriff's Office On Monday, October 31, 2017 Adair County Sheriff's Office, along with Adair EMS and Fire Department, responded to a single vehicle accident on Knifley Road. Mrs. Anna Perkins of Knifley was operating a 2008 Chevrolet Aveo when she dropped off the shoulder, overcorrected, crossed the roadway and hit a ditch cut, which caused the vehicle to overturn. Mrs. Perkins was extricated by the Fire Department and was flown from the scene to University of Kentucky Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident.
