Taylor County Grand Jury returns indictments Fri 27 Oct 2017

Indictments brought against 18 individuals from Lexington, Campbellsville, Elkhorn, and Buffalo, KY on charges including robbery, assault, wanton endangerment, trafficking, possession, theft, burglary, receipt of stolen property, exploitation, and unlawful imprisonment.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Taylor County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Campbellsville, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Friday, 27 October 2017:


  1. Jeremiah Johnson (01/31/1972), Sandersville Rd., Lexington, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00182. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Robbery, 2nd degree. Bond set at $50,000 cash, no contact with victim.

  2. Gregory S. Lyons (04/04/1976), Quisenberry Ln., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00183. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (cocaine). Count 2 - Possession of marijuana. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law.

  3. Austyn D. Thornton (09/06/1999), Columbia Ct., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00184. Charged with 5 counts. Counts 1-2 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 3 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 3rd degree, 1st offense (20-120DU drug unspecified. Count 4 - Drug paraphernalia buy/possess. Count 5 - Possession of marijuana. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  4. David I. Cundiff (02/19/1982), College St., Buffalo, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00185. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Count 2 - Receiving stolen property under $500. Bond set at $2,500 cash, no contact with victim.

  5. Bronte Karr (07/21/1991), N. Columbia Ave., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00186. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting $500 to under $10,000. Bond set at $2,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  6. Anita M. Stone (06/12/1975), Anna Ct., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00187-001. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Count 2 - TBUT or disposition shoplifting $500 to under $10,000. Bond set at $5,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  7. Brittany M. Cowan (10/03/1996), Broadline Dr., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00187-002. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - TBUT or disposition shoplifting $500 to under $10,000. Bond set at $2,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law.

  8. Joshua Tyler Garrett (09/09/1986), Eggers St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00188. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Count 2 - Theft by unlawful taking or disposition all others under $500. Count 3 - Persistent felony offender, 2nd degree. Bond set at $30,000 cash, no contact with victim.

  9. Tracy M. Yocom (12/18/1985), Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00189. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree methamphetamine. Count 2 - Promoting contraband, 1st degree. Count 3 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $5,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  10. Jason B. Morgan (05/17/1990), Elkhorn Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00190. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Unlawful imprisonment, 1st degree. Count 2 - Violation of Kentucky EPO/DVO. Count 3 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $7,000 cash.

  11. Jennifer L. Hicks (03/08/1989), Speck Ridge Rd., Elkhorn, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00191. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Count 2 - TBUT or disposition all others under $500. Bond set at $10,000 cash, no contact with victim.

  12. Patric S. Gabehart (07/06/1988), Cardinal Ln., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00192. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Receiving stolen property under $10,000. Bond set at $10,000/10%, no contact with victim.

  13. Todd J. Brown (03/13/1983), Purcells Ct., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00193-001. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 2nd degree. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $10,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.

  14. Wesley Brown (11/08/1980), Purcells Ct., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00193-002. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Burglary, 2nd degree. Bond set at $20,000 full cash, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law, no contact with complaining witness.

  15. Coty B. Bray (12/06/1990), Wethington Ct., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00194-001. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Assault, 1st degree. Count 2 - Assault, 2nd degree. Bond set at $10,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness.

  16. David S. Hooper (01/16/1980), Wethington Ct., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00194-002. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Assault, 1st degree. Count 2 - Assault, 2nd degree. Bond set at $10,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness.

  17. Leon Lasley (06/01/1973), Handley Ave., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00195. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Knowingly exploiting adult by person>$300. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $10,000 full cash, no contact with complaining witness.

  18. Rhonda Dickens (12/07/1967), Melrose Dr., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00196. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Knowingly exploiting adult by person>$300. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $15,000 cash.
