David A. Braun, Russell County, KY (1927-2017)

He was a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, and a resident of Jamestown, KY,at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Marie (Buchert) & George Braun, and the widower of Deloris (Dottie) Braun, and the patriarch of a respected Russell County, KY, family. He leaves 11 direct living descendants.

David A. Braun, 90, of Jamestown, KY passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at his home.

A Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 406 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY at 11amCT, Wednesday, November 8, 2017 with Rev. Nicholas Brown officiating. Friends may visit after 10:00am at the church. A celebration of life meal and gathering will be held at the Braun home following the service.

David was born in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio, on Tuesday, June 7, 1927. He was a son of the late Marie (Buchert) & George Braun. He died Thursday, October 26, 2017, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 90 years, four months, and 19 days.

He is survived by:
  • Two daughters: Deborah (Joseph) Faessler, of Cincinnati, Ohio; and Christine (Charles) Hurst, of Virginia

  • Three grandchildren

  • Six great grandchildren
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Deloris (Dottie) Braun, and a sister Thelma Braun.
