He was a retired truck driver, a United States Army veteran, and of the Christian faith. He was a member of a respected Metcalfe County, KY family. He was a son of the late Parvin & Rosa Anna Jessee. He leaves four direct living descendants.

Raymond Jessee age 89 of Edmonton, KY, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral services will be held 2pmCT, Friday, October 27, 2017, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Jessee Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9amCT, Friday until service time at the funeral home.

Raymond was a retired truck driver, United States Army veteran and of the Christian faith.

He is survived by:
  • Two children: Lonnie & wife Patricia Jessee of Edmonton, KY; and Carolyn & husband Charles Landon of Greenwood, IN

  • Two grandsons: Christopher Jessee of Nashville, TN; and Alexander Jessee of Edmonton, KY
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Henry Earl Jessee; a brother, Murrell Jessee; and a sister Ettalyn Jessee Odle.
