Juvenile injured, airlifted, after 1-vehicle crash on KY 55 S

The juvenile's vehicle fell off the shoulder of the road and overturned numerous times before the operator was ejected from the vehicle. The driver was airlifted to the UK Medical Center after being treated on the scene by Adair County EMS.

A single vehicle accident Thursday, 19 Oct 2017 at approximately 12:50pmCT resulted in injuries to an Adair County juvenile that resulted in the juvenile being airlifted to University of Kentucky Hospital, Lexington, KY.

The juvenile was operating a 2014 Chevrolet 7 miles south of Columbia on KY 55 South.



The juvenile's vehicle fell off the shoulder of the road and overturned numerous times before the operator was ejected from the vehicle.

The juvenile was treated on scene by Adair County EMS and air lifted to University of Kentucky for injuries sustained.

Chief Deputy Aaron Rainwater is investigating the accident and was assisted on scene by members of Adair County Fire Department.
