Barbara was a homemaker. She was a member of a highly regarded family. She was the daughter of the late Carlos & Virginia Smith Mann, and the widow of Ronald Wilson, who preceded her in death in May of this year. His wife, Barbara Wilson, survives. She leaves 12 direct living descendants

Barbara Faye Wilson, 73, of Russell Springs, KY, died Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Funeral service for Barbara Faye Wilson will be 2pmCT, Sunday, October 22, 2017 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Michael Carnes officiating. Visitation will be 10am-2pmCT, Sunday. Interment in the Salem Cemetery Bernard Funeral Home in Russell Springs in charge of arrangements.


Barbara Faye Mann Wilson, 73, Russell Co., KY (1944-2017)

She was born August 5, 1944 in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Carlos & Virginia Smith Mann. She died Thursday, October 19, 2017, at the age of 73 years, two months, and 14 days.

Barbara was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Wilson on May 17, 2017; two brothers, Michael Mann, Ronnie Mann.

Survivors are as follows:
  • Three children: Dwayne (Malissa) Wilson and Tonya (Oler) Bloyd, both of Russell Springs, KY; and Tim (Amiee) Wilson, Frankfort, KY

  • Six grandchildren: Amber Short, Tyler Bloyd, Kaylee Bloyd Abigale Wilson, Amelia Wilson, Riley Bloyd

  • Three great grandchildren: Lukas Bloyd, Wyatt Short, Braydin Kempf
