Clerk Greer announces some 2018 candidate, voter deadlines From Lisa Greer, Adair County Clerk Candidates for the 2018 May Primary may begin filing their papers with the Adair County Clerk’s Office, 424 Public Square, Ste 3, Columbia KY on the following dates: Partisan Races: Wednesday, November 8, 2017 with the last date to file being January 30, 2018 at 4pmCT. Nonpartisan Races: Tuesday, November 8, 2017 with the last date to file being August 14, 2018 at 4pmCST. The date for the primary election for partisan races is May 22, 2018 while the General Election is November 6, 2018. SPECIAL REMINDER: Deadline to change your party affiliation AND be able to vote in the May 2018 Primary is December 31, 2017 AT 4pmCT Note: Due to the New Year Holiday, the Clerk’s Office will be closed on Friday, December 29, 2017 until January 2, 2018.
