Taylor County Grand Jury returns indictments Tue 10 Oct 2017
Indictments brought against 18 individuals from Greensburg, Campbellsville, Buffalo, Henderson, and Mannsville, KY on charges including theft, escape, forgery, tampering with evidence, burglary, fraud, possession, trafficking, and criminal trespass.
NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
The Taylor County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Campbellsville, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday, 10 October 2017:
- Danny Perkins Butler, Attorney at Law, Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00161. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking over $10,000 but less than $1,000,000. 2 - Theft by failure to make required disposition of property over $10,000. Counts 3-4 - Theft by deception over $10,000. Bond set at $40,000 USB.
- Brandon Burton (06/29/1990), Indian Trail, Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00162. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Escape, 2nd degree, identify facility. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $10,000 full cash.
- Cody Harvey (05/17/1991), N. Second St., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00163. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Criminal possession of a forged instrument, 2nd degree. Bond set at $1,000 full cash, no use of drugs or alcohol, no violations of the law.
- Jeremy M. Holmes (11/17/1981), Ferrell Hill Rd., Buffalo, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00164. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Criminal mischief, 1st degree. Bond set at $50,000 cash, no contact with victim.
- Jason James (06/06/1990), Meadow St., Henderson, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00165. Charegd with 2 counts. Count 1 - Escape, 2nd degree, identify facility. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $100,000 cash.
- Bronte Karr (07/21/1991), N. Columbia Ave., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00166. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Tampering with physical evidence. Count 2 - Possession of controlled substance, 2nd degree, drug unspecified. Bond set at $1,000 unsecured, no further violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol, no contact with Jeff Karr.
- Adam Powell (12/05/1985), Christian Church Rd., Mannsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00167. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Burglary, 3rd degree. Count 2 - TBUT or disposition, all others $500 or more but under $10,000. Count 3 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $50,000 cash, no contact with victim.
- Brandon Hicks (02/17/1993), Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00168. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Receiving stolen property under $10,000. Count 2 - TBUT or disposition all others $500 or more but under $10,000. Bond set at $18,000 cash, no contact with victim.

Count 2 - Fraudulent use of credit card $500<$10,000. Count 3 - False statement as to identity or financial condition to get credit card. Same bond as in 17-CR-00170-1.
- Donald Thompson (03/01/1981), Wickliffe Ave., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00171-002. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Fraudulent use of credit card $500<$10,000. Count 4 - Failure of owner to maintain required insurance/securities, 1st offense. Count 5 - License to be in possession. Count 6 - Failure to wear seat belts. Count 7 - No registration plates. Count 8 - No registration receipt. Bond set at $20,000 cash.
- Justin Blakeburn (06/07/1981), N. Columbia Ave., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00176. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (>2g methamphetamine) while in possession of a handgun. Count 2 - Drug paraphernalia - buy/possess. Count 3 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $30,000 cash.
- Justin Blakeburn (06/07/1981), N. Columbia Ave., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00177. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Convicted felon in possession of a handgun. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender. Bond set at $20,000 cash.
- Jeffrey W. Wilson (11/13/1985), Oak St., Cambpellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00178. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Receiving stolen property, under $10,000. Bond set at $5,000 full cash, no violations of the law, no use of drugs or alcohol.
