She was a native of Green County, KY, and her final resting place will be in Greensburg, Green County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Ernest Willard Pickett & Evelyn Dile Pickett. She leaves six direct living descendants.

Ms. Beula Nell Pickett Jewell of Campbellsville, KY, the daughter of the late Ernest Willard Pickett and Evelyn Dile Pickett, was born on Monday, August 9, 1948 in Green County, KY and departed this life on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the Grandview Nursing and Rehab Center. She was 69 years, one month, and 26 days of age.

The funeral services for Ms. Beula Nell Pickett Jewell will be conducted at 3pmCT, Sunday, October 8,2017 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Greensburg Cemetery, N Main Street, Greensburg, KY. Bro. Bill Reed and Bro. Dale Curry will be officiating. Visitation is requested after 12pmNoonCT, Sunday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Stan Curry, David Ellis, Keith Jewell, Jill Beard, Jim Taylor, Josh Landis.

Survivors include:
  • Everett Redell Jewell of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two daughters and sons-in-law: Kim and Stan Curry, and Keisha and David Ellis all of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Jack Ellis of Campbellsville, KY; and Keith Jewell and his wife, Chasity of Greensburg, KY

  • Two great-grandchildren: Zach Jewell and Carrington Jewell both of Greensburg, KY

  • A sister: Ina Ree Pickett of Campbellsville, KY

  • and a host of other relatives and friends.
