(Sept. 27, 2017) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 8 Office advises motorists that beginning Tuesday, October 3, 2017, crews will begin performing paving operations on Main Street (KY 379) in Russell County. During these operations on street parking will be closed and the roadway will be reduced to one lane with traffic controlled by flaggers. Sidewalks will remain open. Work will be performed during the day and nighttime hours with work expected to be complete within one week. These paving operations are part of an ongoing resurfacing project of KY 379 beginning at the intersection of KY 55 and ending at the intersection of U.S. 127. The starting date and duration of work may be adjusted for inclement weather or other unforeseeable delays.
