Martha Greer, 60, Clementsville, KY (1957-2017)

She was the daughter of the late William Basil & Ella Mae Parrott Wethington and the widow of Richard Greer, Sr. She was a native of Clementsville, KY, and her final resting place will be in St. Bernard church cemetery there. She was a member of an large, highly regarded family, which included 15 siblings, sevem pf whom now survive. She leaves 23 direct living descendants. Prior to becoming ill, she was a full-time homemaker and recently enjoyed spending time on Facebook

Martha Greer, 60, formerly of Campbellsville died Sunday, September 24, 2017 in Danville, KY.

The funeral mass will be held at 10amCT/11amET, Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at the St. Bernard Catholic Church, 5075 KY 551, Clementsville, KY, with Rev. George Otuma officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with casket bearers being Junior Greer, T.J. Wethington, Brandon Massey, Bill Wethington, C.J. Wethington and Tom Wethington. Honorary bearers are Anthony Wethington, Clayton Greer, Holly Greer, Angela Chafie, T.K. King, Brittany Massey and Eva Peterson. The family request visitation 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, . Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home, 503 E Main Street, Campbellsville, KY.

Martha was born September 16, 1957, in Clementsville, KY. She was the daughter of the late William Basil & Ella Mae Parrott Wethington. She died Sunday, September 24, 2017, in Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 60 years and 8 days of age.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Greer, Sr. and siblings, James Larry Wethington, Frances Cox, Jerry Wethington, Gordon Wethington, Mary Clements, Charles Wethington and Pat Propes.

Prior to becoming ill, she was a full-time homemaker and recently enjoyed spending time on Facebook.

She is survived by:
  • Her three sons: Clay Greer and wife, Sandy of Nicholasville, KY; Tony Wethington and companion, Timothy King, and Richard Greer, Jr. and girlfriend, Eva Peterson, of Danville, KY

  • Her three daughters: Angie Chafie and husband, Larry of Stanford, KY; and Holly Greer and Heather Tatum and husband, DeWayne of Harrodsburg, KY

  • Ten grandchildren

  • Seven great-grandchildren

  • Her seven sisters and brothers, Charlotte Tungate, Dean Wethington and wife, Sue; Tom Wethington and wife, Nina and Michael Wethington, all of Campbellsville, KY; and Betty Stewart and husband, Jimmy of Harlan County, KY; and Joseph Wethington of Liberty, KY
