STATS UPCOMING - TODAY: LWC Volleyball at Asbury (KY) at 6pmCT/7pmET, Wed 20 Sep 2017 at Asbury University, Macklem Drive (campus), Wilmore, KY By Anthony Latessa COLUMBIA, KY - (Wed 19 Sep 2017) Third-ranked Lindsey Wilson volleyball extended its winning streak to 14 games on Tuesday night with a 3-0 sweep of Mid-South Conference rival Campbellsville (KY) at Biggers Sports Center. The Blue Raiders improve to 14-0 overall and 3-0 in the MSC with the 25-7, 25-12, 25-9 victory over the Tigers (8-2, 1-2 MSC). Lindsey Wilson has now won 57-consecutive home matches. Lindsey Wilson outhit Campbellsville .391 to -.042 in the match. It was the first time since at least 2006 the Tigers have been held to a negative hitting percentage for a match. The Blue Raiders limited the Tigers to negative hitting percentage in all three sets. Lindsey Wilson recorded 10 total team blocks with Grace Blomstedt recording seven which is the most by a Blue Raider this season. Blomstedt also had a match-high 10 kills her fifth time this season with double-digit kills, while Makenzie Montano recorded a match-high 30 assists. The Blue Raiders scored the last 12 points in the first set for a 25-7 victory. Lindsey Wilson outhit Campbellsville .423 to -.062. The Blue Raiders committed just two attack errors in the first set and had five total team blocks. Blomstedt led the way with five kills and four blocks. After a back and forth start to the second set that was tied at six, Lindsey Wilson scored the next seven points to take a 13-6 lead. The Blue Raiders finished off the set scoring eight of the last ten points to take a 2-0 lead in the match. Lindsey Wilson hit .314 in the set and limited Campbellsville to -.028. Paulina Sobolewska led the way in the second set with five kills and Montano tallied 13 assists in the set. After trailing 4-3 in the third set, the Blue Raiders scored seven of the next eight points to take a 10-5 lead. Lindsey Wilson scored the last eight points of the match to secure the victory.
