Reception scheduled for retired teacher Doris Depp 23 Sept 2017

A Columbia reception is planned for former ACHS teacher and long time Beta Club sponsor, Doris Browning Depp, on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017 from 1 to 5pmCT at 390 Edmonton Rd., Columbia, KY, the home of Marsha and Richard Walker.

Mrs. Depp has been living in an assisted living home in Louisville for several years. Her daughter, Dona Beth Smith, and grandson Davis will bring her to Adair County for the afternoon.

According to Mrs. Walker, Mrs. Depp was the type of teacher who went over and beyond her teaching duties to provide her students with educational activities outside the classroom. She looks forward to seeing those teachers she worked with and former students.
