Landrum III, Secretary FRANKFORT, KY (11 Sep 2017) - The last spot bid sale for surplus office furniture and other items from the Capital Plaza Tower building will be start at 7amCT/8amET, Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at 500 Mero Street, Frankfort, KY. Any person, business, non-profit, civic or other organizations will find a variety of items that are still useful at an extremely reasonable cost. These items include desks, filing cabinets, lateral filing cabinets, credenzas, tables, buffets, bookcases, shelves, hutches, typing stands, white boards, bulletin boards, pictures, typewriters, rolling partitions, projector screens, lamps, refrigerators, televisions, projectors, trash cans, chairs, and more. Registration: All interested parties must enter and register in the east lobby (side facing the Transportation Building). Registrants will receive a bid-sheet of all items. Sales and Payment: Bidding will begin at 7amCT/8amET, and conclude at 12pmNoonCT/1pmET, sharp. All sales are final and items are "as-is." Payment is due by 5pmCT/6pmET, on September 13. Items are located on the ground floor, mezzanine, lobby and first floor. Removal of Items: The winning bidders must remove their item(s) by 2:30pmCT/3:30pmET, on Friday, September 15, 2017. No after-hours or weekend loading. The loading dock will be unavailable; some help may be provided to assist with getting items to your vehicle. It is the purchaser's responsibility to load and secure their items. Failure to remove items will disbar the bidder from any Commonwealth of Kentucky public sale for a period of two years.
