Edmonton opens gym to watch Molly in Miss America pageant

By Gaye Shaw, director, Edmonton-Metcalfe Chamber of Commerce

Please join us Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017 at the Metcalfe County High School Gym to cheer for our own Miss Kentucky Molly Matney as she competes for Miss America!

We could not be more proud of our hometown farm girl. Doors will open shortly before the pageant starts at 8pm. We will have the live broadcast on our Jumbotrons. It's also a potluck - so bring your favorite food, snack, or drink. Good luck Molly!

Molly Faith Matney, 20, a Western Kentucky University junior from Metcalfe County, KY, representing the Mammoth Cave Area, won the 2017 Miss Kentucky pageant on July 1, 2017.

Molly is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Avery Matney of Center, the granddaughter of Shirley Matney of Center.
