Taylor County Grand Jury returns indictments Tue 5 Sept 2017
Indictments brought against 20 individuals from Campbellsville, Elkhorn, Greensburg, Raywick and Corbin, KY, on charges including assault, possession, theft, forgery, abuse, trafficking, sodomy, rape, and burglary.
NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
The Taylor County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Campbellsville, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday, 5 September 2017:
- Douglas D. Thompson (04/23/1972), Twin Creek Dr., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00571. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Assault, 4th degree domestic violence minor injury. Bond set at $2,500 cash, no contact with victim.
- Rodney E. Parrish (06/08/1973), New Lebanon Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00141. Charged with 7 counts. Count 1 - Possession controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine). Count 2 - Driving DUI suspended license, 2nd offense (agg. circum.). Count 3 - Failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security 2nd offense. Count 4 - Operating motor vehicle under influence of alcohol/drugs/etc, .08 (agg. circum.) 2nd offense. Count 5 - Failure to wear seat belts. Count 6 - No/expired registration plates. Count 7 - No/expired Kentucky registration receipt. Bond set at $20,000/10%, no alcohol use, no illegal drug use, no operate motor vehicle.
- Phillip Seaborne (02/06/1963), New Columbia Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00142. Charged with 6 counts. Count 1 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Counts 2-3 - Assault, 3rd degree - police officer or probation officer. Count 4 - Assault, 4th degree (no visible injury). Count 5 - Resisting arrest. Count 6 - Menacing. Bond set at $1,500 cash, no alcohol use, no illegal drug use, no contact with victims.
- Damon R. Truax (03/03/1982), Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 17-CR-00143-001. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking all others, $500 or more but under $10,000.
