Graves Co. 3 vehicle rolling collision claims life of teenager Driver flown from scene to Vanderbilt, where she died as a result of injuries received in the collision By Senior Trooper Jody Cash, Public Information officer Kentucky State Police Post 1, Mayfield, KY MAYFIELD, KY (September 1, 2017) - A three vehicle collision the occurred August 26th in Graves County has resulted in the death of one of the drivers. On August 26, 2017, at approximately 11:45amCT, troopers responded to the intersection of Tucker Road and Highway 303 for a three vehicle collision. Preliminary investigation has shown Morgan Green was traveling west on East Tucker Road in a passenger car when, for an unknown reason, she failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of Highway 303. As Green's vehicle crossed Highway 303, it was struck by two vehicles.>BR?>BR? The first vehicle to strike Green's car was a truck being driven by Paul Ferguson of Wingo, KY.>BR?>BR? The second vehicle to strike Green's car was an SUV being driven by Manuel Allerano of Mayfield, KY. Morgan Green was flown from the scene to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN for treatment of life threatening injuries. The occupants of both other vehicles were checked by EMS personnel on scene and released. On August 31st, Morgan Green, age 16, of Mayfield, KY died at Vanderbilt Hospital as a result of injuries she received during the collision. The investigation is continuing by Trooper Aaron Jestes.
