Adair Co. FFA Chapter wins State Firsts & many other top awards

First in Ag Mechanics Exhibit and First in Large Restoration Contest; Second in FFA Quiz Contest; Second in Floriculture Judging; and Ninth in Nursery Judging

Adair County FFA won first place at the Kentucky State Fair in the Best Overall Ag Mechanics Exhibit and first place in the Large Restoration Contest.

The large restoration was a 1951 Farmall Super C, owned by Orvis Grider, and restored by members of the Adair County FFA.

Students who worked the most on the project were, Mason Carter, Collin Dykes, Brady Baker, Gabe Cowan, Cody Hourigan, Jacob Campbell, Bryant Smith and Clint Garrison.

Other major accomplishments at state fair include:


- 2nd Place FFA Quiz Contest - Ty Cheatham

- 2nd Place Floriculture Judging - Elizabeth Rexroat, Ty Cheatham, Maddie Harmon, Kiley Feese

- 9th Place Nursery Judging - Sarah Hancock, Tori Kimbler, Ashley Hadley, and Dana Greer
