By Tim Johnson For the Band of Brothers The Columbia Christian Church's Band of Brothers in association with others would like to invite you to help us carry out a "Great Work." The Daniel Trabue house is a wonderful, historic, educational and beautiful part of our community. However, it is in need of some painting, cleaning, repairs and sprucing up. Whether you are skilled or not, there will be something for everyone to do. Next Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 7am-1pmCT is our project date. Come out. Work or clap with encouragement. There will be a meal served at lunchtime, singing of praise, and Richard Phelps will portray Mr. Daniel Trabue himself. Daniel will tell us about his home and how he came to settle on that hill above our city's square. The Trabue House is located on Jamestown Hill, 201 Jamestown Street, Columbia, KY, next to the apartment complex. A shuttle will provide transportation too from the Columbia Christian Church 206 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, as needed. For more information, call Tim Johnson at 270-585-2064. --tim Johnson This story was posted on 2017-08-29 14:50:31
